It's the Eagles Summer CVL 2025!!
Two separate teams of players will play on the day:
13:00 Abingdon Eagles 1 v Oxford Brookes
13:40 Oxford Brookes v Oxford Hoops
14:20 Witney v Abingdon Eagles 2
15:00 Witney v Oxford Hoops
15:40 Abingdon Eagles 1 v Abingdon Eagles 2
We're excited to take part in the Summer CVL league organised by the club!
These are regular league matches. Two separate teams have been selected to play on the first day of the tournament. Final placing games and semi-finals will be played on 29th June and another date in July. Finals will also be in July. Dates in July to be confirmed.
Games shall be made up of 2 halves. Each half will last 10 minutes.
Players:
- Wear your numbered Eagles orange kit if you have it, otherwise bring a sports shorts with you and let the TM know you need a kit.
- Bring at least a sports shorts if you don't have a kit.
- Bring water.
- Wear clean basketball footwear.
- Arrive at 12:30 for 1pm kick-off at the Abingdon and Witney College.
- Match fee of £5 payable.
- Enjoy the show!
Parents/Guests:
- Spectators welcome!
- We would be very grateful if you could help us place the chairs around the court prior to the start and tidy up after the event. Thank you.
- Bring drinks and snacks and camping chairs if desired, although there should be seating available.
- The nest will be set up on the entrance for you to purchase refreshments and snacks during the games and waiting times.
- Cheer for the Eagles as loud as you can!
