After Tuesday's game, the Men needed a reaction, and with only 7 players available, they came close to beating a team with a big bench, but in the end lost narrowly by 4 points.
The Eagles dominated the first quarter and deservedly led. The second quarter was tighter and the Eagles struggled to find their rhythm.
Going in to the last two minutes of the match, the Eagles were down by 6. A quick fire 2 points reduced it to 4 points before confusion around a time out meant Oxford had a 14 second possession in the front court which denied the eagles the opportunity to hit back.
The 7 were magnificent today and all played a big part in a highly competitive match. They were a credit to themselves and the Eagles.
