We started with just an open session every Monday two years ago, with only a few girls showing up at a time. Now, we have a full U17 girls team that reached the YBL Final!

Coach Joe and I have been extremely impressed by the skill, toughness, and tactical awareness the girls have gained since the start of the season.

Despite having a much younger team, we decided to enter the U17 YBL playing against many older teams. Although we did not come away with the gold, the entire team should be extremely proud of their performance and remarkable improvement.

The dedication of the girls has been inspiring. Many have been working on their game outside of regular training, participating in extra sessions and Eagles camps. It's also wonderful to see them involved in junior coaching, refereeing, and table officiating.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Joe Hodgkins, an amazing team manager and champion for girls basketball, and Joe Wright, an outstanding head coach and motivator for the girls.
