Rounding off the end of the NL season, Dan held the floor on Sunday evening with a special moment presenting Coach Andy Sellick from the U18s with a 'Player's Coach' award and Oli honouring Head Coach and U18 Lead Coach Steve Claringbould with a 'Most Valuable Coach' award, thanking him for all he has done and wishing him well, as this was Steve's last season coaching a NL team for Abingdon Eagles.
The club took time to give thanks to all the internal table officials and referees that were present and involved in the NL this season, all who are a great inspiration to our young players and their families.
Club officials:
Eagles will be sure to again celebrate our external officials at 'The Whole Club Celebration' later in the Summer, along with the announcement of our annual 'Baker Caudle Award' Winner for their commitment to the club, community and sport.
The coaching team, players and their families said "Farewell and see you soon" to our U18 players Dan going off to Bournemouth University and Oli off to flight school, who both became a part of the 'Forever An Eagle' program.
