The UK has been growing it's 'residential basketball camp' scene over recent years and they are becoming hugely popular within the basketball community, to the point that already there only a few places left on most - a testament to repeat bookings from previous years.

The camps are ideal for those players looking to push forward in their development over the summer when clubs close down for a rest. They cater for all players at different stages in their learning and some from as young as 10 years old through to players in their early twenties. They are put together to test and develop your game, gain exposure to international coaches, coaching styles and players and most importantly push forward with your development, practice makes progress.

There are of course other camps available, but here's a few (purely in date order) that Eagles recommend by either our Head Coach or our players themselves. If I've missed any you would like mentioning, please get in touch and let us know.

LMP Camp - Sunday 30th July to Thursday 3rd August
State-of-the-art facilities including 4 indoor basketball courts at Loughborough University.
Professional coaches from the USA and Europe. At Loughborough University, the 'Let Me Play Camp' will immerse the player in masterclass clinics for ball handling, passing, shooting, dribbling and defence.

RedStar Camp - Monday 31st to Saturday 5th August
Red Star Basketball Camp UK will return for its fourth year in the UK in 2023. The camp is a product of the cooperation agreement between the City of Leeds Basketball program and European giant KK Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade). Red Star camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18 with residential and non-residential options, Leeds Beckett University, Headingley Campus, Leeds LS6 3QQ.
